The project consists of 7 small rooms of uniform size, width of 5m, depth of 7.5m and height of 2.5m. The rooms are built with different stone materials and construction techniques, showing that the shop owners have hired private crews to design and construct.

Scattered around the ruins there are ancient coins, flowers and other artifacts, showing clues about the time and method of life of the ancient people in the ancient city of Argilos.

The researchers believe that they have reason to continue searching for more new discoveries in future excavations, because the geophysical survey at a depth of 3 meters earlier suggests there are still many layers. The ruins are underground.

"Arches are often quite common in Greek cities in ancient times, from the 3rd to the 1st century BC. The work discovered in Argilos is one of the oldest and true traces. special " , Jacques Perreault, an archaeologist from the University of Montreal.

The old city of Argilos was on the top of a hill and was not known until 1992, when Perreault and his early colleagues began excavating. Researchers believe that the ancient city of Argilos was founded in 655 BC, possibly the first Greek colony on the coast of Thracia.
