Southeast Asia Zoo Association Annual Meeting with the theme

Annual Meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Zoos with the theme " Let the zoo become more complete " has taken place from 11 to 13/9 in Ho Chi Minh City. Nearly 200 delegates from 27 countries and territories attended.

Delegates include the president, director, veterinarian, technical staff of zoos around the world, participating in discussing topics on: animal husbandry and veterinary veterinary, marketing, fundraising and design. Zoo, enrich the environment and ethical standards in animal care.

Currently, Vietnam has planned and built 87 national parks, nature reserves, historical and cultural zones with a total area of ​​1 million hectares. Saigon Zoo and Zoo and Hanoi Zoo have also achieved many results in breeding many endangered fauna of Southeast Asian fauna such as: pheasant star, white-tailed chicken, yellow-cheeked gibbon, leopard fire, cat scratch .

Ho Chi Minh City is carrying out a project to build a new 485-hectare animal-plant garden located in Cu Chi district, 60 km from the city center.
