A park in China's Hubei province exhibits salamanders called '6-horned dinosaurs', attracting many visitors.
According to CNR, Shiyan City Park on January 3 displayed a series of " 6-horn dinosaurs" , also known as Axolotl salamander or fish known to Mexico .
This is an endemic amphibian in Mexico, living in many lakes such as Lake Xochimilco in Mexico City. In particular, this species extends its childhood time, and its whole life is shaped like larvae, so its size is very small.
They do not undergo metamorphosis (lung development and onshore).Adults are still in the water and have outer fins.
Because the cheeks on each side have 3 beards, they look like horns, so they are called 6-horned dinosaurs.
Axolotl is widely used in scientific research because of its ability to regenerate many body parts.
The wild salamander Axolotl is now in danger of extinction due to urbanization in Mexico and water pollution.
They are classified as endangered in the wild by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and are listed in the Red Book of the Convention on Endangered Wild Fauna and Flora(CITES). .
