Typhoon 12 that landed on the shore will cause serious landslides, floods and mud from the North Central Coast , the mountains adjacent to Laos, to the south - to Bao Loc, Lam Dong.

Rainfall in these places can be up to 150-300mm. Heavy rains occur most along the central coast and into the mountains of Laos.

The risk of flooding and landslides caused by Typhoon Damrey will also spread to Cambodia by the end of the week, causing rainfall of 75-150mm, especially in eastern Cambodia.

Typhoon No. 12 will weaken significantly after landing in South Vietnam and Cambodia, but the storm may continue to cause some local floods in southern Thailand on November 5 and 6.

It is known that before becoming a tropical storm and named Damrey, it was called the Ramil tornado in the Philippines. It caused more than 300mm of rain in the northern Visayas and south of Luzon in the Philippines at the beginning of the week, killing at least two people from landslides.
