Does humanity need to plan to live on Mars to avoid extinction like dinosaurs?

The famous physicist, Professor Michio Kaku believes that Mars is one of humankind's greatest hopes of being at risk of extinction.

According to research by this American scientist, 99.9% of life forms will become "fossils" and "disappear from Earth".

If you do not invest in space research, find life on Mars, then the fate of humanity is the same as the previous dinosaur.

Professor Kaku also expressed concern if the invasion of Mars really became the only way to avoid extinction.

Kaku and many scientists are studying projects that involve changing the surface and climate of Mars, making them more friendly to humans.

One of those ways is to melt the ice at the extreme to calm the temperature on the red planet.

This is likely to be done by using solar satellites, focusing the beam of sunlight onto the ice block.

Kaku said: "Once we change about 6 degrees of temperature on Mars, it will get the greenhouse effect and Mars will basically fix itself."

However, Kaku also points out that humans should not abandon the Earth completely . Mars may be a useful but temporary option. It operates like a space vault, keeping people safe from major natural disasters or catastrophic climate disasters.

Kaku believes that maintaining Mars as an insurance policy for humans, a Plan B, does not deplete Earth's resources.
