Alcatel-Lucent acquired Nortel's 3G business
The newly merged Alcatel-Lucent SA Group has announced the completion of the acquisition of Nortel Networks Group's UMTS (3G) business for $ 320 million.
The plan to buy Nortel's 3G network was announced by Alcatel-Lucent in September 2006, and by December 31, 2006, the new transfer procedures were completed.
