Alcatel-Lucent organized an IT Solution Forum for businesses

Newly merged telecommunications group Alcatel-Lucent has held an annual forum - the 2007 IT Solutions Business Forum in Paris.

Taking place in Paris in the presence of hundreds of customers, partners and industry experts, this year's forum has focused on addressing the pressing issues currently posed to businesses as well as IT service providers are how to adapt to market changes through network transformation, service transformation and business transformation.

Gathering about 8,000 attendees from all over the world, besides exhibitions and important presentations, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise IT Solutions Forum 2007 also has special programs for senior leaders, key partners, service providers, media as well as industry analysts.

Through this agreement, customers who are businesses all over the world will be able to exploit the functionality and economics of IP-based Internet (communication) solutions. This is considered to be part of an effort to help companies in transforming the overall network and business operations.

Along with the current trend of IP technology selection, industries and sectors are changing the way of using communication solutions to effectively convert their business operations. Alcatel-Lucent and Orange are working together to promote this change.

This agreement specifically emphasizes the following services: business conversation services, Internet protocol VPN services, mobile and fixed convergence solutions, integrated communications software applications, Contact center for multimedia information processing.

Orange customers can choose to deploy Alcatel-Lucent's complete technologies as a traditional network operated and managed by the business itself, or as part of a controlled Communication Services model, at technologies owned and managed by Orange.
