Amazing images of Mars ever
Mars is the planet most researched by scientists in the universe (after the Earth). So far, the World has launched 43 missions to reach this planet, half of which have been successful.
Mars is also called Mars (English: Mars) is the fourth planet from the Sun in the Solar System. It is often referred to as " Red Planet" , because iron oxide is present abundantly on the planet's surface making its surface appear red. Mars is a rocky planet with a thin atmosphere, with surface features that resemble both craters on the Moon and volcanoes, valleys, deserts and ice caps on the Earth. .
Below is a series of images of Mars recorded by space exploration equipment for more than half a century.
Before any spacecraft is sent to Mars, this is the best quality image of this act that scientists have received from California's Mount Wilson Observatory.
Before NASA's Mariner 4 successfully approached the Red Planet and sent the first images of the Martian surface to us in 1664, the Soviet Union and the United States had previously sent six probes to the planet. but not successful.
In 1969, NASA continued to mark with Martian photos from Mariner 6 and Mariner 7. This time, two satellites sent 201 photos, capturing 20% of the surface of the Red Planet.
On May 30, 1971, NASA successfully implemented the first project to put the Mariner 9 satellite into Mars's orbit. In total, satellites sent back to humanity 7,329 photos.Mariner 9 also provides evidence of volcanic ranges of giant Olympus Mons.
NASA's Viking 1 landed on Mars in 1975. This was the first object to successfully land on the surface of Mars. This is the first image that Viking 1 recorded.
Viking 1 recorded the first color image on the surface of Mars just a day after it landed. From this photo, scientists have acknowledged their previous " Mars has red " theory.
In 1996, NASA successfully landed the Mars Pathfinder on Mars. The probe sent back to Earth the first images of water on Mars. The image above is polar ice caps on Mars.
Spirit and Opportunity robots have successfully landed on the surface of the Red planet in 2003. This is considered the highest resolution image ever taken on the planet at that time.
NASA's largest self-propelled robot - Curiosity - successfully landed on Mars in 2012. NASA said Curiosity brought with it the most advanced scientific equipment compared to its predecessor robots.During the exploration process, Curiosity sent back to Earth a series of the most incredible images about Mars.
The photo was taken in an area called "Namib Dune", a black sand dune to the northwest of Mount Sharp - once studied to find signs of microbial support.
Another sharp picture that Curiosity sent to Earth during its exploration mission.
Curiosity can even show us the sunset on Mars.
