Amazing Slow Down 3.1.4 - Learn music by slow listening
If you are a composer who likes to learn new techniques and new songs, you can learn by listening to each piece of music over and over again. But to be like that, the music has to slow down a bit and Amazing Slow Downer will help you do that.
You can repeat any piece of music at normal speed, slow down or even play faster by dragging the speed from -50% to 400% without changing the pitch of the song. You can also change the height to either up or down in half to match your instrument.
The program uses MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA files and processes in real time. You can download the trial at http://www.ronimusic.com/download/setup_amsldo.exe, compatible with all Windows (including Windows Vista), capacity of 1.21 MB.
Using:
1- Select the CD drive to work
First you need to choose which CD drive you will play and listen to music (if you have multiple CD drives), if you only have one CD drive skip this step. If you later need to re-select another CD drive, press the Options-Preferences menu, select the CD Device tab.
- Frame CD-ROM access method: Select the drive access method.
- CD-ROM Device: Select the CD drive to use.
- CD-ROM Type: CD drive type. If the CD drive has a cable connected to the mainboard, choose IDE-ATAPI; If connected to SCSI communication card, select SCSI of the drive brand.
- Synch correction: For some CD drives when playing music, if you hear rattles and bangs, select the 1 to 8 synchronization level for the drive when reading data on the disc. You keep choosing those levels until you hear them smoothly.
- DAE Speed: Select the correct reading speed of the CD drive.
- Sense CD change: When enabling this item, the program will automatically recognize the data in the CD (when you replace the new disk).
2- Set up sound card
If you listen to music normally, skip this step; on the contrary, check if the audio output port is enabled by: double-clicking the speaker icon in the system tray (this will turn on the Volume Control window), removing the checkmark in the Mute box in two Wave and Volume Control columns.
3- Listen to music
- First select CD Player (listen from CD, listen to Audio CD only) or File Player (listen from music files stored in the computer) in the list in the upper left corner of the program window. If you listen from the CD, you can press the Eject button to open and close the CD drive when inserting the disc. If listening from the music file, press the File menu, select Open (or press Ctrl + O), then select the music file to listen to.
- To start listening, press Play; pause click Pause; stop and stop Stop; to continue listening click Continue. You can then change the following options:
+ Column Vol (in the lower right corner of the program window): Drag the slider up and down to adjust the volume to be large and small.
+ Check boxes EQ, KA, ST: Turn on or turn off the volume equalizer, music or karaoke equalizer, play hi-fi or mono.
+ Select one of the three slowest types (default is Slow Down Type IV).
+ Start slider: Select the starting point for listening.
+ End slider: Select the end point.
+ Loop check box: Enables or disables enabling playback again and again.
+ Speed slider: Adjust the speed of playing music. Normal listening is 100% (you can see the% number in the status line). Pulling to the right is slowing down and vice versa.
+ Pitch slider: Adjust the height of the song low (default is 0).
4- Save the music you heard
If there is a piece of music that forces you to listen to it over and over again, you can save it so that you can hear it later. Click the File menu, select Save song as and Wave file (save as WAV file) or if you want to encrypt it, select Encoded file.
