America: Meeting obstacles in the project

Landing on the moon - building a base - exploring Mars was the goal launched by the US since 2004. But recently, the US Department of Aerospace (NASA) outlined the plan.
Although previously, the "timetable" of the space exploration project has been outlined in great detail, but this plan is likely to be difficult to continue.
According to scientists, because today, NASA focuses most of its finance and capacity on improving safety for spacecraft and maintaining international space stations, so the idea of bringing new spacecraft to the moon before the year 2020 is very difficult to complete.
NASA is currently adjusting the research force, preparing a new design of moon detectors, which will have many new functions. Specific plans will be announced in the second half of this year.
A design for future moon base.
Find the base
Once the astronauts land on the moon successfully, they will probably have to spend about 2-4 years building the base there.
In the first step of the " Moon Action " plan, astronauts will "raid" a number of "target areas", thereby determining the best location to build the base.
Before completing the selection of "permanent bases", they alternately work on the moon, each group has 4 people and each work will last 7-10 days.
Scientists say the "Antarctic" area on the moon is the first choice for base construction.
Although this is an area with a winding terrain, it is the place with the most water and sunlight. But some other scientists are skeptical about the possibility of ice here, if the water in this place is not enough, NASA may choose another location with a more flat position.
After the location selection ended, the astronauts' next task was to build a "office". Because of the similarly harsh environmental conditions, it is likely that scientists will take simulations based on the US base in Antarctica today.
America conquers the Moon: Obstacles .
Even if scientists can overcome all technical obstacles, long-term residence on the moon is still the most risky plan.
They have not been able to know what astronauts' health will be in extreme environmental conditions and living in long-term weightlessness, not to mention the life-threatening dangers of the exploration process.
One of the causes of time pressure on the US is that recently, great powers are racing to target the moon exploration program.
In the plan to build a base on the moon, the United States also faces many difficulties, especially energy obstacles, cosmic costumes, dust and moon tool boxes.
Energy: Solar energy is the first choice for generators if you want to build a base on the Moon. But in the "Antarctic" area on the Moon, where there is the most sunshine, the distance between day and night is 14 days apart. This means that scientists must look for another way to overcome the 14-day "hibernation".
Cosmic costume: The cosmic costume used in the moon's Apollo 270-pound (about 100 kg) weight. On the Moon, they weigh about 40-50 pounds and are quite suitable for astronauts. But if you go to Mars, the weight of this suit will increase to 102 pounds (38 kg), if worn, astronauts will be very difficult in all activities. Therefore, the design of travel suits needs to be simpler and lighter.
Dust: After landing on the moon, astronauts are "complaining" that in the joints of the suit are dusty. Future activities on the moon will be more complex, longer-lasting, so creating a moon base with a dust-free environment is also one of the research objectives.
Toolbox on the moon: Due to the special environment on the moon's surface, the types of tools used there must be specially designed and may be made as rudimentary tools of 19th century like cables, cars with sliding wheels .
