This is a strategy signed by the Prime Minister on January 3, 2006 in Decision No. 01/2006 / QD-TTg. Accordingly, the goal by 2020 is: Application of radiant energy; developing nuclear power to ensure the country's energy security; building up the potential to effectively apply radiation energy.
Regarding the implementation, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung requested that the Ministry of Science and Technology (Science and Technology) be the host of the above-mentioned projects and coordinate with the relevant ministries and branches to build the plan. detailed planning to 2010, 2015 and 2020.
The units will organize the approval of the scheme according to their competence or submit to the Prime Minister and take responsibility for organizing the implementation after the project is approved. Every year, the implementing units must have a general report sent to the Ministry of Science and Technology to report to the Prime Minister. The review of the implementation of master plans must be reported at the end of 2010, 2015, 2020.
The Prime Minister stated that the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other relevant agencies, should develop a plan to balance capital sources to allocate budget for construction and organization of coffee browse the project.
