Australia prohibits children under 2 years old from watching television

A proposal to prepare for the Australian government has instructed parents not to let children under the age of 2 watch TV, because too early exposure to this device makes it difficult for children to speak, reduce attention and obesity.

It is also recommended that children from 2 to 5 years of age should watch TV for no more than one hour per day.

According to the Telegraph , this guide is designed to target child care centers, but also gives advice to parents, to prevent widespread obesity.

Based on recent studies, it is recommended that children under 2 should not watch television or use other electronic media at all.
