Awarded to young Vietnamese engineers and scientists
On November 30 in Hanoi, Honda Vietnam Company (HVN) awarded 'Honda Award for Young Vietnamese Engineers and Scientists' (Honda YES Award) in 2013 with a total prize value of 30,000 USD and 10 Wave 110S motorcycles for 10 best faces.
In addition, these students also have the opportunity to receive the Honda YES Plus reward valued at US $ 10,000 if studying abroad in Japan or US $ 7,000 if accepted and actually participate in internships at universities study, institutes or laboratories in Japan from 2.5 months to one year within 5 years of receiving the prize.

This is the 8th year of the award being implemented in Vietnam with the cooperation of Honda Foundation, Institute of Policy and Technology Strategy Institute - Ministry of Science and Technology, HVN and six universities linked as Bach Khoa Ha Cabinet, Technology - Hanoi National University, Natural Science - Hanoi National University, Hanoi Transport, Da Nang Polytechnic and Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic.
This year's award receives applications from students from April to the end of July 15. After passing the prequalification round, the 30 best resumes continue to enter the next two rounds of essay writing and interviews.
If in the selection process, the selection committee evaluates candidates based on academic results, achievements and scientific research results, then in the round of writing essays and interviewing candidates again. The Association fully demonstrates personal ability such as professional knowledge, logical thinking, communication ability, confidence.
After three rounds of competition, the Selection Committee selected 10 most outstanding students to receive the award including a student of Hanoi University of Technology and four students of University of Technology - Hanoi National University. , two students from Hanoi University of Science - Hanoi National University, a student of Da Nang Polytechnic University and a student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
This is an annual award for outstanding students of technical and technological universities nationwide, which was first organized in Vietnam in March 2006 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of HVN's establishment.
