Start award for young scientist

The Honda Award for Young Vietnamese Engineers and Scientists (Honda YES) has just been launched at 6 major universities nationwide. The award honors outstanding students and aspires to fulfill the dream of reaching the peak of technology of young talents in the field of science and technology. This is the 6th annual award in Vietnam.

With the desire to bring the opportunity to many more outstanding students, this year the Award will expand the selection of candidates to 4 more departments of 2 newly affiliated universities since 2009 is the University of Natural Sciences - National University Hanoi and University of Transport.

As usual, the Honda YES 2011 award consists of 2 stages: YES Award (10 prizes, each prize is 3,000 USD and 1 motorbike is worth 1,000 USD) and YES Plus reward is worth 7,000 - 10,000 USD. The Honda YES Award in the 6th - 2011 year will start receiving applications from students from April to the end of June 30, 2011. Students at affiliated universities have excellent academic results and activities in areas such as: scientific research, social studies, extracurricular activities, etc., can apply for the award at the school. .

Vietnam was honored to be the first country to implement the Award since 2006, on the 10th anniversary of Honda Vietnam. After 5 years of implementation from 2006 - 2010, the Award has attracted the special attention of students from the leading Technology Universities in Vietnam, the appreciation of the Education Agency . A total of 330 students participated in the Award with 50 students who received the YES Award, and especially of these 4 students received the YES Plus award and are currently studying Master courses in Japan.
