Called Plump Hand Ring, Baidu's bracelet is equipped with the main function is to monitor the health of users. The device can monitor exercise schedules, calories consumed, sleep habits or distance calculations while traveling and other important activity information. The information collected will be posted to the company's cloud service, from which users can access and monitor their health status on smart mobile devices.
It also has the ability to synchronize work schedules and can become an effective reminder tool. Notably, health support is provided by offering the most appropriate care regimes based on calculations from the user's aggregated data for the day.
The product is co-produced by the company Codoon (China). The first 500 units will be sold for 299 yuan ($ 48) , and then returned for an official price of 399 yuan ($ 65).
