BenQ screen receives the Vista logo
Two BenQ monitors have received the Works certificate with the Windows Vista logo. About 1,000 partners want to get this certificate for their products.
BenQ has just released three new screens. Two of them received the Works certificate with the Windows Vista logo.
Two LCD flat screens (FP93GX + and FP93GS) are the first to receive this logo in the screen manufacturing industry. They have passed the reliability, elasticity, security and compatibility test program installed with Microsoft's upcoming Windows Vista operating system.
The required specifications in Works with the Windows Vista logo and Certified Accreditation certificates for Windows Vista are the same as in Windows XP. It is a minimum resolution of 32 bits per pixel (pixel) and many different graphics memory requirements.
The " Works with Windows Vista logo" certificate ensures compatibility and operation in line with the Vista operating system, but does not guarantee " full professional Vista ". Achieving the Certification logo means that the product has all the advanced features of the new components in Vista.
Microsoft spokesman said about 1,000 partners are eager to get the Vista logo for their products.
Two types of BenQ monitors that have just achieved this certification are expected to be available in December. The third type of screen (FP241VW) is scheduled to be released later this month.
