Breast implants are linked to rare cancers
Australian women intending to have breast implants are being warned about the risk of a rare form of cancer.
The link between breast augmentation surgery and this type of cancer is mentioned in a report by the US Food and Drug Administration, after it discovered 60 cases of lymphoma in women who had breast augmentation surgery, including four Australian women.
