Build relics about Cao Cao

A relic of the Three Kingdoms era is being built in the place where Cao Cao's grave is found, the famous ancient political and military house of China.

On December 27, 2009, the Chinese Cultural Heritage Bureau announced that they found Wei Wang Cao Cao's grave in the ancient city of An Duong, Ha Nam province. The tomb was discovered in a village about 20 km from An Duong city. The city was built about 3,300 years ago. Excavation operations started in December 2008. The attention of public opinion on the military junta Cao increased after the excavation was broadcast live on television on June 12.

China Daily said, for the artifacts that archaeologists found in Cao Cao's grave, the An Duong city government decided to build a relic of the Three Kingdoms period (from 220 to 280 AD). . That was the announcement of Chen Zhongwu, assistant to the mayor of An Duong city.

The main task of the monument is to protect artifacts, not tourism development. It will be located on an area of 2.5 km 2 with Cao Cao grave in the middle. Only archaeologists, historians, researchers and some other special objects are allowed to visit the ruins. Tourists will only be allowed to enter after a museum and Cao Cao have been built. Mr. Chen said tourists could be allowed to visit the ruins since early 2011.

Archaeologists said that people have started to build relics from a construction site in the excavation area.

The Cao Cao Museum will be built on two tunnels that archaeologists are excavating. It will display artifacts in Cao Cao's grave and introduce information about the founder of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period.

'The ruins will also help us protect the graves of Cao Cao's former servants. We have no intention of excavating all those graves , 'Mr. Chen said.

Currently the An Duong government is preparing to build a road connecting the ruins with cities and landmarks near the city.

"We hope that the relics of the Three Kingdoms, An Duong and the cities inside and near Ha Nam will become tourist attractions ," Chen said.

The Chinese Cultural Heritage Bureau Cao Cao cites the list of the 10 most remarkable archaeological findings in 2009. However, some scholars believe that there is not enough evidence to affirm that the tomb in Ha Nam is the burial place of Wei.

Although the controversy surrounding the people in the grave is still not over, tourists still show strong interest in the famous militarist during the Three Kingdoms period. People raced to the excavation site to admire the resting place of Wei.

People living in villages near the grave think of ways to make money - like taking photos, writing to visitors the poems of Wei Wang. Some people even sell foods called Cao Cao.
