Detecting the Ly architecture ruins in Nam Dinh

The National Museum of History cooperates with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh to announce preliminary results of archaeological exploration and excavation of Phuong Nhi mountain area belonging to the relics of Chuong Son Stupa, Yen Loi commune, Y Yen district. .

An artifact was found.

In April and May 2012, the excavation team found a hexagonal architectural ruins with 6 sides of 5 levels built quite carefully.

Through research on materials as well as how to build, the excavation team found that this was an architecture built by reusing materials during the Ly Dynasty.

Regarding relics, the excavation team also obtained many architectural materials and decorations dating back to the Ly and Tran dynasties with many different materials and types including architectural materials, earthenware, ceramics, stone, copper wires, copper coins, lead fish.

According to Dr. Nguyen Dinh Chien - Deputy Director of the National Museum of History, this obtained result allows to identify a large and large scale of relics of the Ly Dynasty.
