Buttocks robot emotion

A graduate student at the University of Tokyo (Japan) has built the first robot ass that can understand the feeling of fear.

Nobuhiro Takahashi (24), programmed for the SHIRI robot (Japanese for the butt), exhibits various emotional responses to each human touch.

When using the whip, SHIRI expresses fear by shaking, while a caress claw responds to a lightening reaction, thanks to silicone-based artificial muscles beneath the skin, according to Reuters.

In addition, the microphone mounted inside the SHIRI will instantly detect the stroke or stroke.

SHIRI is unmatched by the sophisticated robots in Japan today, but it marks a new step in the development of human robot in the future.

Young Japanese inventors hope to be able to use this technology to develop reactions to other parts of the robot, especially on the face, to help deliver non-verbal messages.

The robots were able to communicate with humans by voice, but they were still inanimate machines that did not show emotion. Thus, Takahashi wishes to change this situation.
