Cambodia itself produces electric cars, cost less than 200 million

Heng Development of Cambodia has officially launched a car with two seats completely produced in the country. Angkor's first car with a top speed of 60km / h is priced at less than $ 10,000.

Angkor EV 2013 was launched earlier this year at a factory in Takhmao town, Kandal province, the first electric car produced in the country. This is the first product of engineer Nhean Phaloek after the company Heng Development invested $ 20 million for the car production project under the brand Angkor.

At prices below $ 10,000, it is still high compared to the price of old cars imported into the country and Angkor EV 2013 is only electric version, but obviously this is a great effort of Heng Development. Although the product was introduced under the Angkor brand, Heng Development director Sieng Chan Heng revealed that the car still has to use many components imported from China.
