Can access the Internet from the universe

Astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) started accessing the Internet yesterday.

AP said astronaut Timothy Creamer worked with scientists from the earth to bring the Internet to ISS since he flew here last month. On January 22, Creamer's effort paid off. He has put 5 articles on Twitter from the universe.

"Hello Twitter members. We are writing these words from the International Space Station. This is the first post on Twitter sent from the universe," Creamer wrote.

Now astronauts on ISS can use laptops to connect to computers in the center of the earth's control. In fact, Internet connection is done at the ground computer. The data is then uploaded to the ISS thanks to the high-speed data transmission system.

According to the AP, astronauts will have to abide by the same rules of network access as every US government employee. For example, they will not be allowed to surf the web to affect their work. Previously, astronauts could make phone calls over the Internet to contact family and relatives.
