Case positive for the 13th nCoV virus in Vietnam
On the evening of February 7, the Ministry of Health announced that a 29-year-old female patient in Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province, was positive for nCoV and was the 13th case in Vietnam.
This is one of 8 workers of Nihon Plast Company returning from Wuhan, China, on the same flight on January 17. Five of them have identified acute respiratory infection due to the new strain of nCoV.The patient is the 6th person of nCoV infected group and the 8th person in Vinh Phuc.
Unlike other patients, this girl so far has no disease, no fever, no cough , but has been isolated at a medical facility before. On February 3, the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology directed sampling of nCoV samples even though the patients were asymptomatic.
Currently the patient is isolated at Tam Dao District Health Center, healthy, still not feverish or coughing.
The Ministry of Health recommends that local authorities closely monitor cases of close contact with people infected with nCoV.

Vinh Phuc is currently the locality with the most nCoV-positive patients. Currently, Vietnam has recorded 13 positive cases, 8 cases in Vinh Phuc, Ho Chi Minh City 3, Khanh Hoa and Thanh Hoa each one. Three of these patients were discharged, including one in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Khanh Hoa and Thanh Hoa.
The patient in Thanh Hoa is also a member of the Nihon Plast Company group from Wuhan.
In 8 cases in Vinh Phuc, 5 people belonged to Nihon Plast Company group, 3 others were domesticly cross-contaminated from a 23-year-old patient.
The National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the morning of February 7 announced that it had successfully cultured and isolated nCoV, paving the way for speeding up the testing process, vaccine research and finding ways to treat pneumonia. due to corona virus. Vietnam is the third country to successfully cultivate nCoV, after Singapore and Australia.
NCoV-associated acute respiratory infections began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, quickly spread throughout China and more than 20 countries. By February 7, there were 31,535 cases worldwide, of which China had 31,210 people, 636 died in the mainland and one died in Hong Kong, another died in the Philippines.
