Chand Baori ancient well with unique and impressive architecture is one of the leading tourist attractions of the mysterious India.
Chang Baori well in Abhaneri village is one of the oldest and most famous buildings of Rajasthan province. The well was built by King Chanda of the Nikumbha Dynasty in the 9th century. As one of the largest terraced wells in the world , Chand Baori was built to store water and create a place to avoid heat. It is also a gathering place for local residents as well as royalty.
The stairs are neat.
Not only is an ancient water storage structure, Chand Baori today is also an architectural wonder with 3,500 stairs with symmetrical structure, covering 3 sides of the well, leading to the bottom. The well is square, the deeper it narrows, creating a space like an upside-down Egyptian pyramid.
The steps covered 3 wells.
The stairs are neatly connected one after another, when combined with natural light, creating an impressive visual effect, such as hypnotizing the eyes. From the ground to the surface are 13 floors of stairs with a depth of about 20 meters, and maybe a few more below the surface of the water.

Prominent among the four towering wells is the mossy green water tank, which feels fresh, with the temperature at the bottom of the well always 5-6 degrees Celsius lower than on the ground.

The other side of the well is a multi-storey mansion with elaborate door arches, beautiful religious sculptures. Inside was the royal residence with rooms for the King and Queen and a stage for performing arts. In addition, on this side of the well there is the temple of Harshat Mata - the goddess of joy and happiness.
The mansion built in the well is both a royal resort and a solemn highlight for the old water well works
