Chromosomal end points indicate human life expectancy

Maria Blasco from the Spanish National Cancer Research Center has developed a method to perform the measurement of the lengths of the end points of the chromosome, thereby determining the biological age of humans.

The above test showed that subjects with a lower end point of the chromosome had a shorter lifespan than those with the end of the longer chromosome. However, this test does not yet indicate the exact life expectancy of each day, month or year.

There are a lot of people who want to do this to know how much time they have for life and insurance companies can also make a lot of profit from this information. Life insurance companies may consider asking potential customers to do this test and those who have the end points of the shorter chromosome may have difficulty getting insurance.

The findings could help other subjects find a 'miracle' to prolong life or take advantage of those with the shorter end of the chromosome.

Researchers hope that checking the end points of chromosomes can provide important information about premature death to diseases such as Alzheimer's, cancer and cardiovascular disease. They believe that within the next 10 years, the examination of the end point of the chromosome will become common.

The current cost for this test is about 700 USD.
