Cloud like hand reaching to the ground

Amateur photographers capture a special shaped lens cloud that appears in the Scottish sky.

Louise Taylor uses a phone to capture a cloud that looks like a giant hand near the Scottish village of Tore, Sun on June 5 reported. She caught this scene on her way to the town of Dingwall in 2016.

"This scene appeared before a big storm entered Scotland. This is a spiral-shaped lens of clouds . It is certainly the strangest cloud I've ever seen," Taylor said. Her images attracted great attention when posted on social networks. Many people agreed that the cloud looked like an arm to bring down with a hand raised.

Lenticular clouds are non-moving clouds formed in the troposphere. People often see them in mountainous areas. Lens clouds are formed when air moves through the mountain and is cold enough to condense, according to meteorologist Jesse Ferrell.
