Create sperm from bone marrow
From the bone marrow, sperm cells can be created. From there, creating sperm to apply in support of fertility and treatment of infertility. The initial results were announced by German scientists, the author of the above-mentioned research project. However, scientists are afraid, will face obstacles from legal regulations .
Researchers from the University of Göttingen and Münster (Universities of Göttingen and Münster), and the Medical School of Hannover, Germany have separated adult stem cells from bone marrow samples from love volunteers are men.

Commonly, bone marrow stem cells can develop into different types of cells in muscle tissue.
But researchers have caused a small amount of them to develop into cells that look like sperm cells. And when observing in experiments they found that they often develop into mature sperm cells.
This is the first time people have created artificial sperm in this way.
If those cells can develop into mature mature sperms, they will be very helpful for artificial insemination measures. Researchers hope that the process will only take 5 years. But experts have warned that in this early stage, those findings need to be prudently announced.
In some European countries, there is a draft law on artificial insemination that prohibits the use of artificial sperm or egg cells in reproductive support measures.
The study of creating bone marrow sperm has just been published at an international conference on fertilization. This work has also just been published in the biology journal Gamete Biology.
