Database of genetic information causing cancer

A database of information on cancer-causing mutations has been established in Taiwan. That contributes effectively to cancer research.

Recently, Mr. Chu Ngoc Son (Zhou Yu Shan) - a researcher of Taiwan Institute of Biomedical Research said that the Institute has built a database of biological information of the gene mutation cancer.

This work will help develop cancer gene test chips, support clinical diagnosis and drug development research.

Thanks to this database of data, 38 genes have been found that can develop into the liver cancer gene. These 38 genes all form genes and areas of liver cancer in both humans and mice.

This is a very valuable study, which may help researchers find the mechanism of liver cancer through animal experiments.

This data warehouse has been exploited by researchers from the US, China, EU, Israel . from research data from this database.
