Seeing two beautiful and strange axes, he brought them to the cabinet to see. Some antique merchants also came to Mr. Kien's house to buy but he did not sell.

After more than 5 years of storage, Mr. Kien decided to hand over these two axes to the Quy Chau district's Cultural Museum for preservation to introduce to visitors.

The ax-shaped copper axes are slanted, mossy green, with a full length from the head to the tongue, 9.2cm; tongue 7.5cm wide.

The ax is exquisitely crafted, with a throat guard to hold 5.2cm long, oval cross section. In front of the ax, there is a round handle, around the ax surface, there appear many streaks of stone veins .

And the stone ax is yellow gray, shoulders, trapezoidal. The ax is sharpened with sharpened blades, 5cm long, 3cm wide, 1.5cm thick.

"Based on the shape and material, the copper ax belongs to Dong Son culture , the new stone age, about 2,000 to 3,000 years ago. And the stone ax belongs to the new post-stone period.

In order to appreciate the scientific value of the two objects mentioned above, it is necessary to have the research and verification of scientists to contribute to preserving and promoting the value of artifacts " , Thai Thi Hong - Museum officer The culture of Quy Chau district's ethnic groups, said.
