The team at the California Academy of Sciences on June 8 announced the discovery of strange creatures such as sea slugs, heart-shaped sea urchins during a trip to the Coral Triangle , off the coast of the Philippines .

According to NBC News, head of research group Terry Gosliner said that Philippine waters is one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Many strange and endangered organisms grow here. However, so far, there has not been much research on this sea.

"The list of species and the distribution of habitats for these species that we have established over the years of studying land and waters will help to make future conservation decisions and ensure that this extraordinary ecosystem offers the best possible survival opportunity , "Gosliner said.
