A group of international archaeologists from Britain and the United States discovered fossils including the pelvis, a spine, ribs and dinosaur shoulder blades in the state of Utah (USA). The results showed that this is a new fossil dinosaur.

This new dinosaur, named Brontomerus Mcintoshi by scientists, lived in the early period of the White-cheeked period from 145 to 65 million years ago. According to the Daily Mai, the feature of the dinosaur Brontomerus Mcintoshi is that there are large and powerful legs.

Through the analysis of fossil bone samples, the researchers also determined that Brontomerus Mcintoshi belongs to the Sauropod dinosaur family - the largest family of dinosaurs ever discovered so far.

The fossil of Brontomerus Mcintoshi is the 8th Sauropod dinosaur skeleton fossil discovered in North America. Scientists hope to discover more new dinosaurs in this area in the future.

The results of the study by British and American scientists have been published in Acta Palaeontologica Polonica.
