Discover the earliest carnivorous fish, live with dinosaurs

It seems to have found the fish that attacked the other fish soonest in history.

Scientists have found fossils of the first carnivorous fish on Earth at a quarry in Germany. These fish live in the sea during the time when dinosaurs still dominate the ground.

This fish possesses teeth like species and it is a weapon that helps them attack other fish.

The scientists also found the "victims" of this carnivorous fish in the same limestone quarry in Ettling, the Solnhofen region in southern Germany. The prey is found in a loss of fin.

The discovery was led by James Cook University researcher David Bellwood. The team called the newly discovered fish Piranhamesodon pinnatomus . This is an important proof for the evolution of species.

This fish is said to be the ancestor of the Tiger fish, however it does not eat meat but mainly feasts on other fish. This is said to be a clever way of hunting because the fins can regrow, a source of renewable food.

It is said to be very similar to the Tiger (Piranha).

Research on this fish reveals it has long, pointed teeth located outside the roof of the palate. It has scary teeth on both the front and lower jaws. The front teeth are enough to bite the prey of the prey.

With this finding, it seems, we have found the earliest fish in history to attack other fish. This fossil fish is left at the Jura Museum in Eichstatt.

The museum representative said that they were surprised to see this fish has the same teeth as tiger fish. It may appear from a group of carnivorous fish and let out a growl like a wolf. The most special thing is that it dates back to the Jurassic period.

Previously, it was said that carnivorous fishes appeared at a later stage.
