Snake Temple is located in the Teotihuacan archaeological area, including many temples and pyramids, about 50 km northeast of Mexico City.

Built 2,000 years ago, the city of Teotihuacan, with a population of more than 125,000, was one of the largest cities in the world at its peak, but a few centuries later, this ancient city was abandoned. For a reason, no one has known it until now.

Although the Teotihuacan archaeological site has been excavated for decades, archaeologists still know very little about the people who lived here, where for many centuries were abandoned when Aztec civilization in the region began to grow. The Aztecs referred to this 83km square mystery area as ' Where humans become God'.

With the help of a robot called Tlaloc II-TC , the archaeological site of Teotihuacan will soon reveal many of its secrets. In 2011, archaeologists used to use radar technology to discover a long tunnel carved with many mysterious symbols hidden deep in the Temple Temple. According to the researchers, the tunnel may have been seriously around 1,800 years ago.

It seems that the temple has only one secret room, but Tlaloc II robots have found 3 different rooms used for burial and burial. Researchers hope that they will soon prove to be the graves of the leaders of ancient Teotihuacan city, as there is no evidence of any of the leaders or empires here.

Snake Temple is also known as the Quetzalcoatl Pyramid , an area with many incredible archaeological discoveries in recent years.

In the late 1980s, a huge burial pit was discovered, burying about 200 bodies of their warriors and weapons deep in the heart of this temple. Their hands were tied to the back, maybe these warriors were used for sacrifice.

In addition, in 2003, after a heavy rainy season, a small water hole was opened near the foundation of Snake Temple. And this little hole is the end of the tunnel network that archaeologists are still exploring.
