New ancient bricks were discovered at Ho Citadel.

As noted, 'Giang Tay Quan' and 'Giang Tay Chuyen' bricks are rectangular in shape, the average size is 37cm x 5.5cm, this size is smaller than the type of brick cover that is mainly used to build the citadel. Ho's house, in the middle of the brick face, has wooden frames and carved letters and then prints them into bricks when it is still wet. The bold, bold typeface, the words printed on the surface of the brick, unlike the Ho Chi Minh's brick wall, are often engraved on the side.

Another feature is that the tiles are gray, made from fine clay, baked at high temperatures, so the bricks are very solid. Although the five rows have passed, the bricks are not powdered and keep the color.

According to the results of the researchers, this is a type of brick dating from very early Tang Dynasty (618-907). At Thang Long Citadel, excavation results also discovered many similar bricks located in the last layer of architectural vestiges in the Citadel, it exists in parallel with Ly - Tran bricks.
