Archaeologists unearth an ancient mansion of the Roman emperor Hadrian in Tivoli, Italy, spotted a row of steps, an athlete statue and a headless sphinx.
This result is extremely important to understand the structure of the building. The ladder is defined as the main entrance to the villa, built in the 2nd century AD.
So far, 15 steps, each more than 8.2 meters wide, have been revealed and the excavation is still ongoing.
Officials said the newly discovered area, located northeast of Rome, will be open to visitors this year.
