Discovered the world's first fluorescent frog species
Very casually, Brazilian and Argentinian scientists discovered the world's first fluorescent frog.
This discovery occurred in Argentina when a group of scientists studied the mechanism of pigment metabolism in common frog species in South America. But surprisingly, they discovered this was the first fluorescent frog in the world .

Under normal light, this frog's skin has a reddish-brown color, but when exposed to ultraviolet rays in humans, this frog is green.
Scientist Julian Faivovich told AFP: "We are very excited. This discovery surprised us. The findings fundamentally changed the understanding of fluorescence in terrestrial animal environments, creating a premise. new fluorescents can be applied in science and technology, and also discovered new questions about visual communication of amphibians ".
Maria Lagorio, an expert in fluorescence and works independently of the aforementioned group of scientists, said that fluorescence is quite common for marine or insect organisms "but has never been found in bipolar Residential ".
