Many ornithologists speculate that pigeons have a way to warn of their peers when they detect danger, because every time a child flies up in panic, the others near it also follow.
Dr. Robert Magrath, a scientist from the Australian National University, and his colleagues recorded the noises that pigeon wings created when they flew in a safe situation. The team then uses a fake kite bird to scare a flock of pigeons eating on the ground. They recorded the whole sound of birds flying while flapping their wings to fly.

Experts compare the two recordings and notice the hiss that the birds make when they see fake kite birds with much greater sound intensity and tempo than when they fly normally.
Magrath's group played back both clips near some of the pigeons when they were feeding on the ground.
' We found that they just rushed up after hearing the screeches that the birds met. The birds continue to search for prey when we broadcast the video, 'Magrath told the BBC .
Magrath said, the pigeon has a very narrow feather. According to his judgment, the feather vibrates to make a squeak when the bird flaps its wings.
