After a strenuous effort with forecasting due to the storms and floods in the Central region, which brought about huge losses, the sky began to turn green again. In the morning of October 28, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with the National Center for Hydrometeorology organized a Workshop on "Early Warning of dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena ".

Hydrometeorological projections are a very important task to reduce the maximum but the damage caused by natural disasters - a force majeure phenomenon - caused. Understanding the capabilities and limitations of forecasting agencies is essential.
