According to Roskosmos, the Zenit-3SL rocket launcher carrying the Eutelsat 3В satellite was made at 4: 10 (Hanoi time) from the Odyssey floating platform on the Pacific Ocean. An hour later, the satellite Eutelsat 3В separated from the thrust block and went into orbit as planned.
Eutelsat telecom 3В, built by Airbus Defense and Space, operates in commercial bands such as C, Ku and Ka.
The satellite allows expansion of services for Internet users, representations and broadcast stations operating in Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. Eutelsat's life of 3В is estimated to be over 15 years.
The launch of the Eutelsat 3В satellite was scheduled to be launched on April 16, but for technical reasons, the launch was transferred on May 27. This is the 36th launch from the Odyssey launcher in the Pacific and the 33rd successful launch here.
