Explain that women see poor maps but find good things

A research group at the University of California, USA found the reason why women do not see maps as well as men but have the ability to search for keys better.

Many previous psychological studies have shown that men are better able to determine direction than women, but in finding lost items, they are not appreciated by women.

Scientists working at the University of California have done some more research to find out the cause of the phenomenon.

They asked 10 men and 10 women to see a series of unfamiliar images. Participants were asked to tell how they felt about the images that they were beautiful or bad.

The determination of poor women's direction is caused by prehistoric gathering.

In the experiment, the scientists photographed the magnetic field of the brain by electron method (MEG) to measure the change of magnetic fields generated by the activity of nerve cells in the brain.

They discovered that, when the subject studied a picture or a beautiful picture, the management of spatial perceptions, concentrated in the apical region of the brain of both men and women. But while in women, all nerve cells of the two hemispheres are active, only men in the right hemisphere must be stimulated.

This shows that women are more aware of the objects around them, even if they are not related to what they are doing and explain why they are more likely to find the lost key.

Dr. Francisco Ayala of the University of California, USA, said the difference may arise early in the evolution of modern people. Traditional male hunting requires a 'coordination' of the ability to accurately track animals while on the move. However, the work of gathering fruits and fruits of women stimulates the perception of space better.

Ayala adds the conclusion drawn from the group's study: "Men tend to solve navigation work by using orientation-based strategies. Meanwhile, women tend to rely on their activities to remember the location of landmarks and related directions, such as 'from the left', or 'to the right of something' .
