When extracting the attached file, users will see .doc text files or .pdf files. However, it is the malicious code hidden under the icon (icon) above files.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, Director of Research Department of Bkav (Bkav R&D) said: ' Most computers for default mode do not display the file extension. Moreover, the icon of the file is a normal text file, so users are easily fooled. '
According to Bkav , at least 7,500 computers in Vietnam are infected with this courier virus. When enabled, the virus will control the computer, threaten to extort or turn the infected computer into a spam engine to other computers.
Therefore, Bkav recommends that computer users set up a file extension to easily distinguish malicious files.
According to Bkav, in April 2011, there were at least 182 websites of agencies and enterprises in Vietnam being hacked by, including 6 cases caused by domestic hackers, 176 cases by foreign hackers. .
