Service to prevent fraudulent Yahoo website

Yahoo is testing a security service to prevent web surfers from going to fake sites on other websites.

This service tells users whether they have clicked on a valid Yahoo website, preventing users from including Yahoo IDs and passwords into phishing websites.

Phishing is a form of website that mimics well-known websites from the form to the most content, still Yahoo, Google, Ebay, Paypal . in order to trick users into putting in sensitive information.

After installing this service on a computer, a Yahoo sign will appear on valid Yahoo login websites. If you do not see this sign, users can be sure that it is a fake website. The program must be installed separately for each machine.

There are also cases where this sign will not appear in valid websites, which may be due to a change of the sign or deletion by another person, or the cookie file itself being deleted. Another reason is that this service is currently only available for members of Yahoo US, if you use Yahoo and international Yahoo services, this service is not available.

This sign is unique to each computer, so family members sharing computers need to know the signs to distinguish. This form can be a new direction in fighting phishing websites.
