Specifically, Australian, US and Vietnamese scientists published in Zootaxa Zoological Journal a new animal discovered in Bidoup Nui Ba National Park named 'vampire tree frog'.

Bidoup Nui National Park Director Ms. Le Van Huong explains further: 'This frog species has a scientific name is Rhacophorus vampyrus . The species of 'vampire tree frog' is distinguished from other species in the same breed because their dorsal characteristics are light brown to red brick; throat, chest and abdomen are white; flanks, front and back of the thigh are black; Between the forefinger and the posterior, the skin is dark to black. This is the 17th tree frog of the genus Rhocophorus discovered, after 16 species have been discovered in Vietnam '.
Most recently, scientists have also discovered in Bidoup Nui Ba National Park a new creature called 'white eyed toad'. White-eyed eyebrows in Bidoup Nui Ba National Park have the scientific name Leptobrachium leucops . They were discovered in the forest area of the Langbian plateau, located within the boundary between Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa.

In terms of plants, most recently, two Vietnamese and Chinese scientists Dr. Vu Quang Nam and Dr. Nian He Xia have discovered and published in a Finnish specialized journal a new species in the National Park of Bidoup Nui. She is called 'Bidoup'.
