When you encounter unexpected accidents, you can still perform most basic first aid without a lot of medical equipment. Firstaid's doctors provide 6-step first aid instructions in the following emergencies:

1. Wash your hands

Without the first aid box, the hand will be the most important first aid tool. therefore they need to be clean. Any wound that destroys skin structure such as cuts, scratches, burns . is very susceptible to infection. If you cannot wash your hands with antibacterial soap, you can use alcohol or other disinfectants before giving first aid.

2. Wash the wound under the tap

Studies have shown that washing cuts or scrapes with clean water is as good as using other disinfectants. Any soap, including non-bacterial soaps, is still capable of killing different types of bacteria. After that, you don't need to wear a bandage right away, just stick the bandage to prevent dirt from entering the wound.

3. Hold the blood with a clean cloth

No special gauze is needed to stop bleeding. Clean towels or T-shirts are very effective hemostatic devices. In fact, if the blood flow is heavy, you should not waste time looking for the first aid box but quickly put pressure on the wound. Once the bleeding has stopped and the wound is washed you can leave it as it is. In an emergency, if you wear clean sanitary pads, you can also use them to stop bleeding. In fact, the first Kotex sanitary pads were used to bandage wounds in the army.

4. Use of broken bone splint cardboard

Cardboard covers are usually quite hard. In an emergency, medical staff still use cardboard to splint the broken bones.

5. Use a pillow to fix the broken eye bone

Wounds on the feet and ankles can be braced by wrapping a pillow around the injured leg and fixing it with duct tape.

6. Perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)

CPR is the most basic first aid. However, for patients who have cardiac arrest, it is enough to perform cardiac compression, without artificial respiration. It should be noted that CPR for children and newborns still requires CPR.
