Given the dangerous nature and serious harms mentioned above, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just issued the Official Telegraph No. 10 / CD-BNN-BVTV to propose the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Real Protection. objects urgently destroy the source of pink mealybug arose in cassava in Tay Ninh province.

The Ministry proposed that Tay Ninh province investigate and detect cassava-growing areas with pink mealybug infection; zoning and destroying all cassava (cassava) plants in the area infected with aphids and at the same time prohibiting the transport of cassava stems, leaves and tubers from the infected areas to other places. Tay Ninh Province needs to mobilize resources, arrange professional staff to guide farmers to implement the destruction measures, as well as monitor and monitor the entire area of ​​cassava cultivation; support farmers with an area of ​​harmful aphids to destroy.

For the Plant Protection Department, it is necessary to strengthen the training and guidance of Tay Ninh province's plant protection officials on measures to safely and effectively destroy and identify specific plant protection drugs to use for pest control and pest control. In addition, the Department strengthens plant quarantine, preventing the infiltration and spread of pink mealybugs in cuttings and cross-border cassava products; prevent transportation of fresh cuttings and cassava from infected areas to other areas.
