As of February 2017, Cat Linh - Ha Dong overhead railway line (railway line 2A) has completed about 90% of the schedule, 12 main stations have been completed.
The largest station of the entire route (station No. 1) at the beginning of Cat Linh is in the process of completion.
After departing from Cat Linh station, the train will run along Hao Nam street, go to La Thanh station, then turn around above Hoang Cau lake.
The road turns to Hoang Cau street, welcomes guests at Thai Ha station.On average, each station is about 1km apart.

Urban railway 2A has 2 intersections crossing residential areas at Thai Thinh 2 - Lang and Giap Nhat - Nguyen Trai (Nga Tu So) crossroads.The minimum distance from the train line to the people's houses is more than 2m.
After leaving Lang station, the train will continue to follow a large curve around Nga Tu So, creating the most sharp curve on the whole route before entering Nguyen Trai Street.
The station is built, designed with separate colors.Carbonated green nuggets, gas red, orange or yellow .
The barie system and protection net over 1m are installed, running along the two sides of the train.
The biggest intersection of the route is the section passing through Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Xien intersection, the only 4-floor intersection in Hanoi consists of a tunnel, a ground traffic axis, and two elevated roads.
Line 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong will have 13 trains (52 cars) with 4 wagons / trains.The length of the train is 79m, the height of the train is calculated from the rail to the top of the train 3.8 m, the maximum width of the train is 2.8m, the maximum speed is 80km / h, the average exploitation speed is 35km / h.Maximum transport capacity each way is about 28,500 passengers / h.

Located on Nguyen Trai Street, only 50m from the street to Van Quan, there are nearly 10 high-rise buildings and apartments.Large and small trade centers and electronics centers are also concentrated here.
Cat Linh - Ha Dong project started in October 2009 with a total initial investment of 550 million USD with preferential loans from China, in the form of EPC.However, the capital was then adjusted to increase, bringing the total investment to more than 300 million USD.
