Death pits all over the world

Death squares in Perm, Russia, are getting bigger and bigger.It appears when a potassium carbonate ore collapses at the end of 2014. Currently, this death hole is 125m long, 122m wide and 75m deep.(Photo: Uralkali Press ervice / Odnoklassniki).

Darvaza's hell gate is located in the Karakum desert, Turkmenistan, is a huge gas pit.This strange hole has been burning for over 40 years.It was discovered by Soviet geologists in 1971 when the ground beneath their drilling equipment suddenly collapsed, creating a hole with a diameter of 70m.Because in the pit filled with toxic natural gas, scientists decided to fire the hole and hoped the fire would turn off after a few days, but it still exists today.(Photo: Amos Chapple / Rex Features).
