Google recruits talents with prize-winning competitions
In the "hunt" campaign of the best programmers, the online search service organized the contest called Code Jam in the European region. Candidates will have to conquer the most complex coding challenges to win the equivalent of $ 4,500 and become the organizer's employees.
In the competition using this C ++, C # and Java languages, the players will compete online to enter the Top 500. After the second round, the number of candidates will be only 200. The last 50 'high players' will arrive in Dublin (Ireland) to attend the final.
Google hopes the competition will allow them to find and attract top IT talent to work for their expanding and expanding research centers in Europe. 'Code Jam is one of the many ways that we conduct to reach out to young programmers who love programming,' said Google Chief Technology Officer in England. "This is really a very interesting way to recruit people."
Registration for Code Jam will last for the first three weeks of May. See details at www.google.com/codejameurope
