Honoring Vietnamese Talents in 2014

In the evening of November 20, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Talent Talent Award 2014 took place and the 10th anniversary of Vietnamese Talents 2005 - 2014.

This is a program to honor the country's talents in the fields of information technology, science, medicine and environment, organized by Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group and some other units.

For the first time after 10 years of organization, the Vietnam Talent Award 2014 was awarded at the same time with three first prizes in all three product systems: IT Success; Prospective IT; IT Application on mobile device.

Accordingly, the first prize of IT Success belongs to the Author of Research Center of Integrated Circuit Design (ICDREC) with the product of 8-bit commercial microcontroller chip of Vietnam SG8V1.

First prize IT Prospects belong to Open Source Technology Joint Stock Company New generation with products Integrated management equipment, services and professional network infrastructure.

First prize in IT Mobile application for the Team Development of Money Lover application with product Personal finance management application on mobile Money Lover.

Three groups of authors won the first prize, each group received a prize of VND 100 million. The organizers also awarded 2 second prizes of 50 million VND each, 3 third prizes each worth 30 million VND to the authors and the group of authors with excellent products.

Along with the ICT field, scientists in the fields of science, medicine and the environment have had research projects that were also honored in the award ceremony.

The award in the field of Environment was awarded to Mr. Pham Hong Diep - the outstanding environmental protection activist, pioneering to mobilize the government and people to build a green residential area in Thuy Nguyen district - Hai Phong.

Award for science and technology field was awarded to Dr. Hoang Duc Thao and colleagues with the project 'Study on application of technical ditches of precast thin-walled reinforced concrete in underground engineering infrastructure in Vietnamese cities'.

In the field of medicine and pharmacy, the first project to be awarded is the work of "Manufacturing the system of strains of Rota virus vaccine and the production of Rotavin-M1 vaccine in Vietnam" by Associate Prof. Dr. Le Thi Luan, Deputy Director Director of the Center for Research on Production of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals.
