Google tests social networks
Google has begun testing within a few new social features created for iGoogle products. Updates include Chat, Streaming activities, and a new interface for improvement requests on the opening page.
Google plans to expand ads on the upgrade of the opening page next month.
A new extension of iGoogle called Canvas, there are many improvements on iGoogle for users. Google has renamed the iGoogle opening page and added support for a variety of improvements for users to be able to have minor customization on these pages.
The new location of iGoogle's new Tab is on the left-hand side of the page, and you can expand the Tab to see a list of improvements and status information such as Gmail's unread mail count. There is also a chat feature removed from Gmail that allows you to chat with your contacts while accessing iGoogle. That means Google has a pretty sensitive face because you will know when your partners are online.
"The chat feature will be displayed by default. It is clear that Google will be able to add options for sharing resources and send the issues in discussion to online partners. '
